The Innovate254 Hackathon is Kenya’s bold step toward a smarter, digitally empowered future. This inaugural event brings together the country’s brightest minds to co-create AI and cybersecurity solutions that will drive the next generation of digital public service and governance.
With the ambitious tagline “Fixing 48 Governments in 48 Hours,” the hackathon dares participants to tackle real-world governance challenges across all counties in just two days.

– Registration
Indicate whether you are registering as an individual or as a group (maximum of 5 members)
– Project Title & Team Details
Provide a clear title for your project and list all team members with their contact information.
– 3–5 Minute Video Demo
Upload a video showcasing your project. The video should:
Explain the problem you’re addressing, how your solution works and highlight any key features or innovations.
– Proof of Concept (100 words max)
Briefly describe the technical feasibility and intended impact of your solution. Be clear and concise.
– Select the most appropriate stage of your project(dropdown):
-Idea/Early Stage – A promising concept under development.
-Prototype – A working model demonstrating core features.
-Scalable Solution – A well-developed solution ready for broader implementation.
